मनसि वचसि काये पुण्यपीयूषपूर्णाः
त्रिभुवनमुपकारश्रेणिभिः प्रीणयन्तः।
परगुणपरमाणून्पर्वतीकृत्य नित्यं
निजहृदि विकसन्तः सन्ति सन्तः कियन्तः॥

English Translation of Sanskrit quote:

Full of pious nectar in mind, words and body
Pleasing the Three Worlds by successive obligations
Always making a mountain of smallest of others virtue
By developing it in one's own heart, how many good people of such kind are there?

Beautiful saying!
Sri Rama was like this. However small a sadguna was in anybody and however bog the demerits, Sri Rama always used to highlight the smallest of the small good qualities that He used to find in others and make them feel happy. This kind of encouragement goes a long way to even a wicked person who will slowly imbibe more and more sadgunas and transform himself into a sajjana :)
